Open Settings in the app and switch Graphics to Lightweight. It lowers shadow and foliage detail and keeps the ride smooth on older devices.
Photos you take in photo mode are kept inside the app, in the Album. Open a photo and tap Share to save it to Photos or send it somewhere else. The app never looks through your photo library; iOS only asks before adding the picture you chose to save.
No. Reset progress clears keepsakes and journey stats only; your album stays as it is. Deleting the app removes everything, because nothing is stored online and there is no account to restore from.
